We develop globally competitive entrepreneurs and startups through programming, funding, business mentorship & coaching, events and our creative physical infrastructure. Future of Work Coordinator

Planet Hatch is looking for motivated student to fill the new role of Future of Work Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to work on a brand new program that aims to future-proof the Canadian labour force during a time of unprecedented technological revolution. The successful candidate will assist Planet Hatch in developing content and strategic partnerships while coordinating pilots and other engagements for this new program.  

 

The Startup Services Coordinator will report to the Director, and as a member of the Planet Hatch team will be expected to contribute to setting objectives and reporting on results.

 

The ideal individual will be ambitious, enthusiastic, independent, task-oriented, practical, decisive, efficient, approachable, dependable, and supportive.

 

Responsibilities 

Future of Work:
This professional development series was designed to build transferrable 
entrepreneurial skills that are in high demand during times of industry and labour disruption. As pilots are launched, the Startup Services Assistant will be responsible for developing marketing collateral, managing data and learning outcomes, and assisting the delivery of training. 

 

Membership Services:
Between our two locations Planet Hatch supports 25-30 startups “in residence” at any given time. The Startup Services Coordinator will be a primary liaison with startups and triaging them to appropriate services/ programs based on their individual needs.

 

Experience/ Skills

●      Creativity, emotional intelligence, and implementation skills,

●      Experience with marketing and graphic design,

●      Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;

●      Excellent verbal, presentation and listening skills;

●      Familiarity working with a CRM system;

●      Bilingualism (French/ English) is an asset.

●      Familiarity with New Brunswick’s economic development and business ecosystem is an asset.

 

*Must be between ages of 18-30 years of age, a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.

 

Location: Fredericton

Details: Flexible schedule: 20-40 hours/ week. $12 per hour.
