about planet hatch

What we do

Planet Hatch is more than a space. It’s the fuel that fires our startup ecosystem.

The Planet Hatch environment provides a modern, inspiring and technologically-rich space for engaging in discussion, exploring ideas, and launching new initiatives. We are Fredericton's hub for incubation and acceleration and a key part of New Brunswick's entrepreneurial support ecosystem.

Planet Hatch’s programs connects entrepreneurs with all of the resources required to help them become successful. In addition to physical work and meeting spaces, we offer programs and services that include mentoring, funding source guidance and professional services.  We partner with eight distinct accelerators, offering space, shared resources, and collaboration on the development of new programs and offerings.

Planet Hatch is also a resource for the community, offering space rental, events, and education.

Planet Hatch operates as a single organization with Knowledge Park and Ignite Fredericton.

Ignite Fredericton is the community’s economic development catalyst agency focussed on business growth and attraction, population growth (student retention, immigration, repatriation), and various strategic initiatives to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Knowledge Park ,  Atlantic Canada’s largest technology and research park, is a clustering environment for knowledge-based companies and a member of the national Association of University Research Parks (AURP).
